Appletree Cottage is a peacefully located period residence, situated within a few minutes walk of the local shops, restaurants and banks, and one hundred and seventy metres from the coastal footpath. The sea front is no more than a ten minute walk. For those wishing to explore the area on foot, Appletree Cottage is a great centre. At the top of Victoria Place the coastal path takes you west to the seaside resort of Exmouth with its cob cottages, and its Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian Town houses.
Turn east and you can explore the river Otter and then onto the Regency town of Sidmouth. You can return to Budleigh Salterton by bus.
We offer a full English breakfast produced using local products where possible, and a vegetarian option is always available. We also have special facilities for walkers.
Appletree Cottage is non-smoking. Unfortunately, it is not suitable for pets.
