Appletree Cottage is a friendly, family run B & B with a relaxed atmosphere. It is just a few minutes walk from the beach, restaurants & local shops. Peacefully located in a Victorian cul-de-sac in the heart of the old town of Budleigh Salterton, Appletree Cottage offers easy access to the coastal footpath for stunning walks, east to Sidmouth, and west to Exmouth.
Locally you can explore the river Otter, with walks to Otterton and beyond.
Follow the disused railway line into Exmouth or just sit on the beach and admire the views to Berry Head and to Portland Bill.

Breakfast

We offer a full English breakfast, a vegetarian option, kedgeree, a smoked fish plate, or scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. Budleigh Salterton still has a traditional high street. So your breakfast will be sourced from Budleigh's own bakery, fruit & vegetable shop and butcher. Every breakfast is accompanied by a bowl of fresh fruit salad and freshly squeezed orange juice.
 
And At Night

You don't need to use your car. It's just a few minutes walk to the local bistros, restaurants and pubs.


Appletree Cottage B & B  is non-smoking. Unfortunately, it is not suitable for pets.
